The conceptual form comprises a double height rendered rotunda wrapped around two curvilinear wings forming a secure courtyard space in the centre.

The north wing provides teaching spaces for KS1 and foundation stage children with the administration area towards the main entrance.

The common and shared facilities such as the hall, library and

IT suite are located in the rotunda allowing easy access for all pupils. The south wing is dedicated to KS2 children allowing easy access to the southern playground area.

A series of projecting ‘draws’ accommodate the ancillary spaces adjacent to the main teaching spaces with views into the central courtyard. The school also benefits from an enhanced IT infrastructure to cater for today’s curricular.

The construction comprises a steel frame with a brick and cedar cladding, with mono pitch single ply membrane curved roofs to the main teaching blocks.
